Medical aid, living brotherly love
Mobile clinic for refugees
Syrian refugees only have limited access to primary healthcare. Many of them don’t have official Refugee-status, and so have no right to official aid.
In an expensive country like Lebanon, being treated by a doctor is unaffordable for Syrians without health insurance. Since spring 2015, our service team has offered basic healthcare in 10 camps, staffed with qualified Swiss professionals (doctor, nurse, assistant).
In 2015, around 1000 patients were received. Treatment happens in a mobile clinic, the refugees are visited in the camps: if necessary, they have house-calls. All consultations are free of charge. Patients are treated regardless of their religion or political alignment
